10 places to camp your tiny home

With summer almost here, it's time to start thinking about vacations. Make it a tiny house camping adventure! Camping conjures up images of rustic tents or tricked-out RVs for most people. Tiny houses don’t even factor into the camping image. It may even seem like RV parks won’t want the hassle of a small house being towed in, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Not to mention tiny home communities and the host of other places to park your tiny home.
Below are several spaces to combine the best of camping with the customized freedom of the tiny house life.

1. Privately owned RV parks

Because camping is so synonymous with tents and RVs, that’s all you’ll really see many RV parks mention in sales literature, so people assume that’s all you can ever take camping. But tons of RV parks take tiny homes. You can find listings of RV parks that allow tiny homes here. It’s recommended that you call first to make sure they take tiny homes, as policies could change.
