Welcome to the Painted Lady, a beautiful antique in Texas

From Tiny Texas Houses, the Painted Lady looks almost too picturesque to be real. We can assure you, however, that this tiny home exists, and not as a cartoon. The colorful exterior paint job is only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the charming features the house has to offer.
This 312-square-foot Victorian is just one of the models Tiny Texas Houses — proud members of the "Rubble to Riches Renaissance" — has created. The company prides itself on using salvaged materials of the highest quality, intent on constructing homes that will last for generations to come.

According to the website, the Painted Lady's exterior only features six colors, but each shade makes quite an impact to highlight different aspects of the intricacies of the architectural styling. Every detail seems to jump out and demand your attention.
The interior is largely made of long leaf pine, and the kitchen backsplash is antique tin. Below the mesquite cutting board, you'll find a two-burner induction plate and fridge/freezer. The kitchen is also equipped with a microwave and generously-sized sink.
This looks like an exquisite cabinet, but it has a trick up its sleeve.
It's a murphy bed, and the ornamentation folds out to become the feet! To the right, you can catch a glimpse of a day bed if you have visitors. The website also mentions an upstairs sleeping loft.
The shower  is constructed from circa 1880's  interlocking galvanized roofing shingles on the walls and a river rock floor for a truly unique experience.
If you look closely, you can see that the sink is embossed with Texan imagery. The cabinets are made of long leaf pine.
The stained glass adds color to the largely wooden interior and ties in beautifully with the outside color scheme. The large windows provide more than enough natural light.

Welcome to Rookwood Cottage. This lovely tiny house on wheels was conceptualized by the masterminds at Incredible Tiny Homes. It was completely custom-built for its owner, who was quite hands-on during the entire process.
