Tour the stylish 3-story Birdhouse

When is a tiny home not so tiny? When it encompasses three stories despite taking up just 400 square feet. Aptly known as The Birdhouse thanks to its unique and picturesque looks, this Asheville, North Carolina property is just a block from downtown with affordable nightly rates of $175.
Instead of a tiny house, it qualifies as more of a skinny house; it's actually an expanded garage that was originally built in the 1920s, according to Small House Bliss. The outside measurements are just 10 feet wide and 15 feet long.

A combination of artificial and natural light and a beautiful light blue bring the entryway to life.
A bent staircase of white wood saves space in the front of the home.
A sink and vanity mirror occupy a wall recess with built-ins to save space.
Like the house design itself, the shower's narrow, tall design allows for more privacy, as the toilet is in a separate space with its own door.
Upstairs a comfortable loft awaits, with gorgeous natural light for early mornings and a big wooden dresser for storing clothes.
The winding staircase is the epitome of style, dropping down to a kitchen with two cozy bar stools at a circular table.
The yards might be the biggest surprise, as a back deck with an inviting wooden chair is joined by a front sitting area featuring two chairs, a gravel footpath, and a series of trees designed to keep out noise and amplify the fresh air factor.
The intense greenery separates the Birdhouse from neighboring residences.

Its Air BNB listing showcases the Birdhouse in the Historic Montford district, close to "restaurants, bars, breweries, shops, theater, and yoga". Does it sound like the perfect getaway spot to you?
