Mira and Jeremy Von Thompson took an ordinary school bus and transformed it into an extraordinary tiny home. According to Von Thompson Creative, Mira grew up loving art, while her husband grew up with a passion for carpentry. Although Mira's love for art did not translate into traditional paint and canvas forms, she discovered she had a gift for creating spaces.
According to the Marilyn Dennis Show, Jeremy had over nine years of work experience in auto body and decades of carpentry experience when he took on the project of creating his tiny home. His mastery of these arts can be seen in how he blended form and function to get an amazing product. The YouTube tour of their finished home from October 2015 states that because of the talents and skills of the Von Thompsons and doing the work themselves, they managed to complete their tiny space on a "very tight budget."

The Marilyn Denis Show states that the walls are made of painted pine.
A full-sized kitchen makes cooking for a family of three simple. The refrigerator is a refurbished, antique Frigidaire.
A gas stove and plenty of cupboard space are included in the kitchen.
To keep from wasting the space over the wheel wells, this one was turned into a love seat.
The other wheel well is the hearth for the wood stove that acts as the heater for the tiny home. The stove was reclaimed from a yard and cleaned up, and it's now fully functional.
The Von Thompsons made sure to include beautiful windows in their space. They used round, square and octagons for the various windows.
The bedroom space and loft were carefully designed and crafted. Von Thompson Creative points out that the bedroom doors close to give the parents privacy. The ladder for the loft can be easily stored out of the way when not in use.
The space holds a California king-sized mattress, and the octagonal windows let in plenty of light. Cubbies are built into the windowsills.
The loft acts as the family's great room. The wood ceiling keeps the space warm and welcome.
According to YouTube, the couple has a flush toilet in the house.
This amazing, tiny home is beautiful both inside and out. With careful thought and construction, the Von Thompsons have taken a tiny space and turned it into a palace for three.
