Tiny house village proposed, but you won't guess who it's for

Yes, not just a tiny home but a tiny village. Bridges Community Services, a nonprofit group based in Delaware, is planning on building the state's first tiny village for a very unlikely group: the homeless.
Who are the people the village is serving?
Susie Kemp, a director at the group, told Star Press, "There are some folks who just have a hard time coming back into a normal housing situation. They have mental health issues, they just flat-out don't like being around people — post traumatic stress disorder is another one."

What does the village look like?
Unlike most tiny homes which range between 200 to 1,000 square feet, this village will consist mainly of micro homes less than 100 square feet. The goal is to give each resident a sense of space and privacy.
What is the purpose?
Kemp adds, "It's a little village. A place for them to become comfortable until they get used to more societal living than they're used to."

Why is this significant?
Typically, Delaware state prohibits micro homes in residental zoned areas, so if the state/city approves it, it will be a major move in alternative housing options for those who could use it.
