Peek inside this stylish cottage: you won't believe it's only 900 square feet!

Unique and colorful style is packed into every inch of this 900 square foot home. The first of home of Emily Mae, the blogger behind Go Haus Go, she describes her style as "a good mix of bright, quirky, trendy, fun, modern, crafty and more. Its not too serious but it also has tones of luxury that I aspire to."
Emily has used her great eye to remodel every space in the house. What once was beige and boring, is now beautiful and bright. The home is full of DIY projects and simple decorating ideas that anyone can duplicate. Each room has a classic feel, but with an unexpected twist here and there. Can you say lime green couch? Visitors enter the home by way of the charming front porch. Modern nickel house numbers and a modern planter were added to the traditional brick exterior.
Mismatching sofas and a dresser re-purposed as a TV stand make for an inviting and eclectic living room. The convex mirror above the TV was sent to Emily as a gift from one of her blog readers!
Glass-front bookcases add height to the room and plenty of storage.
Painting the cabinets gave the kitchen a white and bright makeover. A marble subway tile back splash and butcher block counter tops complete the look.
Wallpaper in the kitchen is a bold choice that pays off. The black and white pattern makes a great backdrop for the unique yellow dining chairs.
The bedroom features an IKEA dresser, with adhesive vinyl panels added to the drawer fronts for a new look. White walls and neutral furniture allows eclectic accessories and colorful bedding to take the spotlight.
The extra bedroom is used as an office space. Painting the closet doors the same dark gray as the walls makes the small room feel bigger. Framed band posters are an affordable art choice.
Another daring wallpaper was chosen for the bathroom. A simple gray vanity and gold accents compliment the whimsical ostrich pattern.

A hanging fabric curtain is an easy and affordable solution to hide the ugly washer and dryer hook-ups in the laundry room. A clothesline above the cabinets is for hanging wet clothes, but also doubles as a clever place to display Polaroids.
