8 home floor plans with two levels and under 1000-square-feet. We love #7

When converting to tiny house living it can be easy to foist stereotypes on your future home; that it'll be all one room, like a shed. That it'll be either crammed to the rafters with things or you'll have to get rid of everything you own to fit in there. That your lifestyle will have to change in undesirable ways to align with your new living situation.
None of that has to be true, though. If you fancy a studio-style property, good for you - but there are thousands of options varying from open-plan to formally divided rooms. Not to mention, options with multiple floors - just like 'big' houses. Storage is key and while a certain amount of 'things' will have to leave, you'll find you don't miss them anyway. Your lifestyle only ever has to change as much as you want it to - it's in your power.
