Couple retired in a tiny home, but the government wants to kick them out

Tom and Karen Rogers retired in a tiny home located in a mobile home community in York County. At first, the county allowed them to stay there, but since then, has changed their minds and are asking them to vacate the property, reports ABC 13
Vacate or go to court? Now, the couple is fighting to keep their tiny home.
Rogers' home, acquired from a company called Lil' Lodges, is around 400-square-feet and has many amenities: kitchen, living area, loft, washer/dryer, and small front porch.

Better yet? The couple has been supported by the local mobile home community.
Why is the county being so difficult? "A county attorney said the house must go because of public safety issues, and it doesn't have a HUD seal or approval," says ABC 13.
Karen Roger argues, "This is built better than a lot of your houses you're going to find in Ford's Colony (a gated community in York County). Safety? Our house is threatening? I heard that too and it makes no sense."
Tom Rogers, a former Navy veteran, felt that they were being bullied by the local government. "If they take us to court what do you think is going to happen? We don't have any money, we're not going to hire a lawyer, so guess what's going to happen to us?"
What are your thoughts?
