Tour this tiny New Orleans cottage featuring a jacuzzi tub

This "doll house" looks small from the outside, but its cleverly-designed interior is packed with luxurious details.
Conveniently located a couple blocks from Magazine Street, this quaint and cozy 400-square-foot home provides the perfect balance between the bustle of New Orleans and the privacy of a personal mini-paradise. Owner Lilian writes that the cottage has been likened to a "doll house," and a quick tour proves that description apt.
Aside from the charming and colorful exterior that echoes the vibrancy of the French Quarter, the cottage is easily accessible to public transportation — making it ideal for tourists hoping to explore the historic city.
The front stoop practically invites you in with its bright colors and well-maintained facade, making it truly feel like your home away from home.
According to Lilian, this cottage is located in a relatively safe area of town, and she currently resides next door should you have any questions or concerns.
Once inside, you'll notice how bright and cheerful the interior is. The entryway is lined with comfy seating options ideal for conversing or a late-night cuddle session in front of the flat-screen TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation, which is especially helpful since the grocery store is a just a stone's throw away.
Down the hall, the bedroom is an oasis of calm with its soothing color palette drapes that let in the perfect amount of light while still providing privacy.
The bathroom, however, is what sets this tiny home apart. In addition to the standard amenities you'd expect, the bathroom features a rain shower head and fully-operational jacuzzi tub for the utmost in relaxation and luxury. Lilian asks that you ensure the water level is above the jets should you use it.
As for the private backyard, the outdoor seating makes it easy to enjoy the balmy New Orleans nights, while the trees provide shade during the day.
Though there is no washer or dryer onsite, Lilian offers to have linens picked up and laundered for no additional fee, plus complimentary housekeeping. For $140 a night, you can enjoy this slice of paradise and explore New Orleans like a local.
